A major problem that webmasters who engage in affiliate marketing face is the theft of their affiliate commissions. Did you know that someone can come to your site and replace your affiliate ID with their own? This is especially common with ClickBank products. The end result? They get away with the product and your commission – leaving you with nothing!

Many people have decided to just accept this as an unfortunate reality, but now there is something you can do to stop people from stealing your affiliate commissions – just cloak your affiliate link! The process is surprisingly simple and will only take a minute to do.

Take the code below and replace ‘YOURLINK’ with your affiliate link. Then, copy the code and make an .html file called anything you want – I recommend something like “outgoing.html” or “redirect.html”

Now just replace your affiliate link with a link to that file on your site! When a visitor goes to that page they are automatically redirected to your affiliate URL and they do not have the ability to change the ID and rip you off!
