How to Effectively Deal With Customers

By Kovich On January 8, 2010 Under Guest Posts, Running Online Business

You’ve probably not heard of me before. My name is Charles Salmon and I am contributing this post to RunningOnlineBusiness. I have been making money online for around 3 years now. I am 14 years old. I had a cold start, I had no idea what to do. A lot of experimentation was required. I had to sieve good ideas from the bad, in order to find out what performed most effectively. In the end, I established that it’s not what you do but it’s how you do it. You need to treat your customers well if you would like them to return. You need to provide good service if you want good rates. You’re pretty privileged, having found Michael’s blog here. Answers are right before you, all that is required in order for you to succeed is to read up, motivate yourself and apply what you have learned.

Get the Customer
How can you effectively deal with customers if you don’t have any? You need to sell yourself to the customer. Your rates need to be reasonable. You need to provide a pitch that they cannot refuse. Ask for any information that you need from them in the copy. Leaving your customer clueless as to how they can go about receiving your service is never a good start. State your turnaround time and how much load you can handle in the pitch. Be upfront, don’t hide anything. Secrecy is never a good look. Ensure that you get someone else to revise the copy before it is published. If they don’t make any changes, introduce a third person to take a final look.

Keep the Customer Informed
Let them know how you are progressing. Keep them fully up-to-date. If you’ve got any problems, inform the customer. If you don’t think you can reach the set deadline, tell them in advance. Don’t make them have to chase you up. Aside from new orders, they should never be required to initiate contact with you. They should know exactly how much longer they need to wait before you are complete, when the service is complete and when you are ready to take on more load.

Communicate With the Customer
Customers are people too. Talk to them. Don’t lose professionalism in doing so, but talk to them. Establish two profiles with your customers. Keep them separate. Don’t offer them better rates because they’re a nice person. Adhere to your copy.

Always Meet Deadlines
You should have supplied a deadline in your copy. Meet it. If they ask for a faster turnaround time, make a decision – can you or can you not? Don’t say you can if you cannot. Deadlines are very important and convey a huge amount of professionalism. There is no problem with being early.

What Happens When You Have a Good Team?
My biggest, most-established web property is Tech Noxx. I encourage you to take a look. I have been running Tech Noxx for nearly a year. I have worked with people that always seem to manage to meet my little checklist that I have described above and I admire them for that. Good teamwork produces good results.

Yeah you are absolutely right. I agree with you. This is a good solution to handle customers neatly. Patience and customer satisfaction is the key for all business especially in internet marketing.

    Thanks:)
