RunningOnlineBusiness.com’s purpose on the internet is to teach the general population about online business and how to make money online. At the same time, I believe that many things are more important than money – honesty and integrity are two such examples. I do not engage in unethical marketing or business practices and will never encourage anyone else to do so either. (If I post educational information related to such subjects, do not consider that an encouragement.) It is quite possible to produce money and run a successful business without throwing morality and ethics out the window and without doing any harm.

One example of how I maintain my integrity is by following the CAN-SPAM Act. Those whom subscribe to my newsletter will never receive any spam e-mails and their information will never, ever be sold, rented or given away without prior consent. I will never obtain your information illegally or deceptively and will always make a reasonable effort to ensure you know what you are transmitting and what is associated with such a transmission.

Furthermore, I will never allow any illegal or malicious content, material, or data to be hosted on my sites. This includes, but is not limited to: Adware, Spyware and Viruses. I will also make every possible effort to ensure that you are not annoyed by advertisements that may be considered offensive, pop-up advertisements, or even audio-based advertisements. I agree also to ensure that no hateful or discriminatory media is published on any of my sites. Finally, I will never engage in phishing attempts or other scams.

Another example of my ethical integrity is my adherence and compliance to the United States Federal Trade Commission’s new regulations concerning Testimonals, Endorsements, Reviews and related material. These regulations basically state that I must disclose to all visitors when I am being compensated for any reviews, testimonials or endorsements posted on any of my sites. I may be compensated to post about certain subjects or products, to display certain media, etc. Regardless, I do not engage in paid compensation work (or any work at all) unless I truly agree with what I am posting. Anything else is highly deceptive and detrimental to consumers.

In conclusion, I would like to summarize this statement by saying that I strive to adhere to all applicable laws and regulations and, in addition, maintain my own high ethical and moral standards. I never want to be deceptive to, mislead, or defraud any consumer or business in any way.
