IBM Patents a Blogging Remote
That’s right, the International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) filed a patent back in April for a television remote control that has “networking capabilities that support social networking and blogging.” According to the patent (7,519,658: located here) this remote control will have the standard application of interacting with your television… but it goes a step further.
It will allow you to automatically blog about what you’re watching at that moment in time without actually having to go to your computer. It can communicate with a blogging server / service and can also display responses to and from any other bloggers with whom the viewer may be communicating. So now you can sit down and watch TV – and let everyone on Twitter know you’re doing it! Best of all, you don’t even need to stand up. Truly innovation at its finest.
IBM added this to their patent information, “… one of the joys of watching television is discussing… juicy bits of a favorite show…” Need they say more?

Good informative post. So it would soon become easier for us to see the reviews on our favourite shows. Cool post. Keep posting.

Hm, so you can blog while not blogging basically? Sounds like a neat invention, though I do not believe you have explained it in depth. I am not a real Twitter fan or user so I have no idea what I’m talking about, but I understand the basic concept of blogging. I hope this ‘remote’ becomes advanced and provides pictures or more information.
