Interview with a Successful Blackhatter

By Kovich On September 3, 2009 Under Interviews

Earlier today I conducted an interview with Razorloq – a successful online money-maker who works primarily with blackhat methods. He allowed me the opportunity to get to know more about his business and how it works and it was certainly inspirational to say the least!

1. Hello there. Thanks for the interview. Care to introduce yourself?
Sure thing. I’m Alexander Razorloq (no, this is not my real name), and I reside in Western North Carolina, where I am a college student currently studying business, computer science, and mathematics, all centralized around internet marketing.

2. Could you describe your initial inspiration for making money online? In what way did you measure your success and what helped to keep you motivated?
One day, when I was about sixteen, my parents awarded me for a lifetime of hard work with a brand new car, a 2007 Scion xB. I loved that car. But I had to put gas in it, and to do so I had to pay for gas. I soon realized that I was far too intelligent for jobs from Sonic and miniature golf courses in my town, so I turned to an ever-expanding realm: the Internet.

I set goals to measure my success and made sure that I met them. If I didn’t meet them, I made sure that I knew I didn’t meet them. That was a good motivator in a way.

3. How long have you been making money online?
It’s been almost exactly two years since my days of paid survey taking and experimental click fraud through AdSense.

4. Have you always produced an income through blackhat methods and techniques? What made you decide to delve into the dark side, rather than maintain a whitehat path?
A good chunk of my income comes through blackhatting. Beileve it or not, some blackhat methods are very profitable in the long run. For example, I could take my e-whoring Facebook profile with 5,000 friends that I am already making about $40 a day from sign-ups, and advertise other people’s stuff on there for a price. After that I can eventually sell it for probably close to $100, after harvesting as many email addresses as I could from it.

I found Black Hat World, became a blackhat success, and never really turned completely back into the light. Simple as that.

5. Would you say that your success is based on the fact that you blackhat, or do you believe you would do about the same on the other end of the spectrum?
It’s hard to tell, as my whitehat means are few and far between, and very separate from my blackhat means. But I would have to sadly say no. I hope to change that in the future. Unlike whitehat, no blackhat method lasts for all too long.

6. When did you first begin seeing a profit online? Did you make any sort of monetary investment?
I first started seeing a noticeable profit when I started dropshipping through eBay and selling my stuff on Amazon. And I have never spent a penny on a single thing marketing wise my entire journey, and I intend to keep it that way. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to spend money to make money.

7. What are/were some of your most successful methods for making money online?
Probably e-whore coaching and e-whoring in general, followed by affiliates, CPA, dropshipping, AdSense, Article Writing, and of course cookie stuffing.

8. Would you say that networking with other webmasters was important?
It is extremely important in this day and age. But, hey, that’s what forums are for, right?

9. What advice would you give to someone interested in producing a significant online income?
Try to hybridize others’ methods. It may take time, but if you can find two aged methods, mix them together, and add a spin, income will arrive. It may take patience, but it will happen in time. Also, find a forum, build up a reputation, and take that thing by storm.

10. Last question. What plans do you have in store for the future?
I hope to have earned exactly one million dollars through internet marketing by the time that I graduate college. It’s a lofty goal, but in my spectrum completely manageable. Scale, scale, scale is the key. And creativity, as always. An uncreative mind is an unrealistic mind, and an unrealistic mind is the mind of a failure.

    What an excellent interview.

I am 22 and left University last year. I wish I had been as successful as this guy in my time at Uni. One million dollars by the time he graduates? That’s incredible! I wish him the best of luck.

I have never been able to do the ewhoring or blackhat stuff myself. Never been confident enough that it will work, and my conscience always holds me from doing it.

This was good interview though. Enjoyed reading it.
